Heyguys. I am a great fan of this sim, rreally love it and played it alot. But recently it just doenst recognise my xbox 360 controller anymore. I cant seem to get it working anymore and it used to work all the time without problems. I tried everything, reinstalling the game, veryfying the gamefiles, unplug and plug back the controller. But
Youcan delete the whole assetto corsa folder from the documents tab to reset everything. I'm sure you've already tested if your controller works on other games
Havea look if your resolution is set to the one of your monitor, not kidding, fixes some bugs with the game. Also, try to map the controls manually. Thank you for the reply. I'll try it and get back to you. When I messed around with the controller, I found I couldn't navigate menus with it. It only worked for the actual driving part (and
Ijust bought the game, and found that Assetto Corsa forces me to use the triggers on the Xbox 360 controller for gas and brake. This setup is terrible for me, but the controller options do not allow me to change the throttle and brake control to the right stick, anybody know how to do this? Pressthe Xbox button to open the guide, and then select Profile & system > Settings.; Select Accessibility > Controller, and then select Vibration settings.; If you have multiple controllers, choose the controller that you want to change and select Configure.. For an Elite Series 2 controller, select the configuration profile that you want to change, select

Im using the Xbox 360 gamepad and the speed sensitivity in Assetto Corsa is a complete half-hearted joke. It barely does anything to help you not suffer mechanical understeer when you're going above 50 mph, and it completely turns off below that speed. The deadzone setting STILL does not work AT ALL. You cannot control the menus at

Its more fun that forza on a controller because ACC gives you full freedom in control. Only thing is, you'll have some trouble driving in a straight line here with a controller. So you are always slightly going left and right, which causes problems for other players trying to overtake you on narrow parts of the track.
ACshouldn't see the x1 controller as a wheel. Have been playing AC with an x360 & x1 and both were recognized as they should, controller. if this doesn't help and you can't switch it over to the controller layout, there is only one way how you can get this solved - re-calibrate the controller in Windows and if the issues persists, its a HW-fault
AssettoCorsa. All Discussions XBOX 360 Controller stops working sometimes after a race, mostly after Ctrl-C (AI Driver) and then going back to manual controls restart the game doesn't help always. Controller stops working in Assetto only when my PC sleeps, but is still recognized in Device Manager when back on.
Oneproblem with it, though, is that it doesn't support the Xbox One Controller very well, there is no official controller profile for it, and there is no rumble feedback support for it at all - not just no Impulse Trigger rumbles, which very few PC games seem to support (I doubt AC does either, but would be delighted to be proved
Ilike this setup for the 360 controller. I'd say i'm pretty competitive and can battle for the lead to a solid top 5 against the vast majority of players. Main Controls: Speed Sensitivity - 50% Advanced: Steering Speed - 50% Gamma - 2 Filter - 0.7 Dead Zone - 0.05 It's probably a bit more sensitive than most would want for joystick control .
