Generally, Fortnite can also be played with a supported controller on the PC, for example, a controller from PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 or Xbox. The game does not offer any functional aids (Aim Assist) to compensate for the disadvantages of controlling with a controller compared to other control options.
However, on controller on PC, this is not the case. You only get auto rotation at the closest range at certain angles when you are making large stick movements so it is much more rare. TLDR: Controller on Console currently has more aim assist than Controller on PC. You can easily test it for yourself. 5. Aim assist isn't on mouse and keyboard, aim assist is 3 things - magnetism, drag, and slowdown on aim. Controllers have all 3, mouse has magnetism on some games that bend bullets toward the target by a few degrees. This is of course because aa is overtuned on most all pvp shooters as of late to compensate for bad stick aim.
Lets be real, aim assist needs to be nerfed horribly. Aim assist is out of control. I watch people on controller and there is 0 chance aim should be that perfectly cracked at my skill level matches. I mean literally 90 percent hit rate in lobbies where pc players are hitting 30 percent at best. Next gen consoles, and the current high bloom
By hooking up a controller to PC, Ohhyy gave the joystick a bit of a “stick drift” and then activated the new aim assist mode. To make the stick drift, the YouTuber went into Fortnite’s controller settings and set the “Dead Zone” to a very low setting of 0.05, which the game warns players should “use at your own risk.”. I think it has something to do with using motion aim but playing Fortnite on Nintendo switch there's almost no aim assist.. It does exist but it's nowhere even close to PS4 / Xbox or even controller on PC. Originally aim assist in fortnite was tied to fps and console was locked at 30fps meaning that aim assist was seen as really bad (this is early chapter 1). This didn't have any problems because console was generally only controller players and PC was pretty much all kbm players.
Turn off advanced settings. Save and back out to lobby. Go back to settings and choose reset at the bottom. Close and back out to lobby. Go back in and turn everything on as you want it. Aim assist fixed. I do it with every update or anytime I feel it getting slack and it comes right back. ErwiN2004. • 1 yr. ago.
Aim assist is at a perfect spot rn. Controller still requires a ton of skill. it does require skill, I wouldn't say as much skill as keyboard but, aim assist on pc is still over powered in my opinion and many keyboard players and some controller players would agree with me, hope you understand my take on the matter.
Controller on fortnite dosent need this strong aim assist lol. No other game has aim assist this broken as i said before. Only thing they need to do is have normal aim assist which most games have and crank up the range. Thats it. Not make it 1000000000 times stronger than any other game.
