In the old days 300k miles on a BMW was the norm. Now I would not buy any car past 50k miles without proof of maintenance. Not a BMW but I recently got a 2011 MB GL 350 diesel with 175k from its original owner who spent $39.5k on dealer maintenance and repairs at the dealer for the 9 years she owned it. $39.5k. Ponder that.
