Given that the battery is fully charged and assuming all else is ok - wiring , connections etc then the problem is essentially the starter motor at fault Its difficult to say to be honest at this point whether its the solenoid or the starterthis fault could be either but a common fault is the starter "dog" - cog assembly You should get a reading of at least 0.3 Ohms. If the readout stays at zero, the earth cable or chassis bolt is either loose or corroded. Repeat by touching one probe on a shiny engine bolt, and the other probe to a chassis bolt. If the needle or digital readout fails to respond, the engine-to-chassis strap needs attention or replacement.
Hello all. Today I tried to remove my starter motor for my Citroen c3 2006 model. I have followed the Haynes manual about removing the 3 mounting bolts and 1 bolt holding the starter onto the loom bracket. The problem is that the starter motor won’t come off. It turns a bit and wobbles back and forth. I just can’t seem to to get it removed.
