I'd love to do a new run using bandits and such, but the skill to actually upgrade looters/etc is so far down the line of leadership, effectively making it useless. By the time you level up to that point, you don't really want/need bandits and they mostly become irrelevant in general. I really don't see a use for that skill when you'd select it as by then, troops are largely Bannerlord is technically better than Warband in every aspect, but it's actually "empty", while Warband has 10 years of accumulated great mods, contents and upgrades waiting for you. It seems like even if I wanted to pillage or devastate the prosperity will plumit and the gold i get is so meager. I'm shocked so many people show mercy. I almost always pillage. The fief usually goes to a different clan so I don't care about the prosperity loss, the relation loss to the owner clan is a bit rough tho.
