Like a lot of people I picked up Attila on the steam sale just to try the Medieval Kingdoms 1212 AD mod. There aren't a lot of resources about the current version online so I wanted to ask and see what the consensus for the best beginner factions are? So far I've tried England and Genoa. Personally I find the Empire of Nicea the easiest faction
Dwarves are the weakest in Third Age Total War, yes. Divide and Conquer that's a different story. Elves, didn't change. Still the best in my point of view. Small Starting Domain.Good Archers which can also be a substitute melee infantry and cavalry which is also ranged. After you unpacke you must detele Medieval II Total War\data\descr_geography_new.txt and Medieval II Total War\data\descr_geography_new.db files or the game will not run. Full path is Medieval II Total War\data\descr_faction_standing.txt after unpacking. .
