Vista -> Control Panel -> Hardware and Sound -> Sound -> [Recording] Tab. Select your headset mic as default in there. If your mic isn't loud enough, you can mess with the settings in-game. Logitech's microphones tend not to register by default. flaming_po0p (Topic Creator) 14 years ago #9.
For a 360 controller, once you use the command "splitscreen_connect", or whatever it is. Once it's in the loading screen after that, unplug the 360 controller, wait for a few seconds or so, and re-plug it back in, and hopefully the light on the controller will turn to the second player spot. Some people say unplug it when the loading screen is
I'm a fellow user of custom Sweetfx_settings for a long time, and I'd like to use reShade as I heard it has addition shaders (depth of field, ambient occlusion etc). So I removed all sweetfx related file in order to prevent conflict. Then I went to the reshade website, downloaded the reshade2.01f4 zip, extracted it. I launched the reshade Assistant, made profile, preset and checked a few stuff
I just use. -sw -novid -nojoy -console -verbose -lv -threads 4. Make sure you put -left4dead2 in your launch options. It tends to give a terrible experience if you don't. Hello everyone. Guys I have such a problem with the game, I go into the Game and do not see the left Campaign and other buttons like settings, etc. Please, who knows how to solve this problem, help !
Not sure but i think you should set it accordingly to the average ping you get. I get on average 57-58 ping as the lowest and 80 - 90 ping as the highest so my safe interp setting is cl_interp "0.067", going lower than this number makes everything more responsive but at a cost of laggy animations ( jittering of the infected ).
For some reason, the voice chat in L4D2 will not work. My mic settings in Steam are correct and test works. I start up L4D2 and the mic test in the options menu works. Then I create a lobby, invite my friend to the game, and neither of us can hear each other. Then when I go back into the options menu to test it again, it doesn't work. I have no idea why this is happening and can't come up with .
